Baby chicks first time integrating with older chickens and ducks.

  1. Polish is so cute! Do you have a problem with them laying under the coop? I was thinking to leave it open for some covered shade...but there is a concern they'll lay under there. They look small compared to the big hens. LOL

  2. None had laid eggs under the coop so far. We were going to cover the opening with hardware cloth then found that they like going under there for shade or dust bathing. We may yet close it off because when we let the rabbits lose in the fenced yard they go under there so we can't easily catch them to put back in their pen. So it has it's problems but not egg laying related.
