After a busy day a quick wander in the woods suited better than a longer walk. I stepped on a large thorn (from a tree not a bush) yesterday so my foot had to heal a bit before a longer walk. Woods walks would be much easier if Willow and Dartha would walk on the same side of trees instead of different sides!
The water is high again.
The day started quite cloudy but soon the sun peeked out.
I planted a second round of mixed lettuces in this terra-cotta colored stacking planter. Nothing was started in it yet so I wanted to use the space, between the people, birds and beardies we can use plenty of greens.
I've had the larger stacking planters for a few year and more recently found little ones. I had no idea what I would use them for but thought they were cute. I planted flowers in some of them and still need to plant out the rest.
We had off and on thunder storms then in the afternoon a sunny break with a tropical feel. The dogs were happy for walks and swims.
