The little chicks put themselves to bed their first night being loose with the flock all day. The few days prior I let them run with the flock most of the day but had them in their brooder cage for a couple hour in the morning and again in the evening.
The big chicks, rescue bantams, still don't put themselves into the coop at night. I still have to carry them in from the run. Three little chicks decided to roost with the adults the others went into their brooder cage in the coop.
