One The Farm 6/19, Crazy Chicken Lady

The chicks we hatched are turning out to have such interesting colors and feather patterns, mixed breed chickens are so fun.

The rescue bantams are thriving at 14 weeks old. They are fully part of the flock.

Mrs. Brown- the silkie who is a boy but I thought he was a girl for nearly a year (hence the name, Mrs. Brown's Boys, haha!) is enjoying the day.

Here's a Crazy Chicken Lady if I ever saw one. I was tending to the little chicks after work and this adult bird,  named "Ms. New Hampshire"- a 7 year old New Hampshire Red chicken jumped up on my shoulder trying to get attention.

Pears, elderberry plants and roses all doing very well right now.
