The heat, humidity and sometimes poor air quality from wildfires in Canada are building up. The dogs like to get cooled off in the lake or brook. Still the heat has affected Willow so she is off walks for a couple days rest. (They have a very large fenced yard for potty breaks). I thought we may have to call a vet but being indoors with fans on and sipping water as needed helped Willow feel better. Thankfully we caught it early. I think I'll have Dartha sit out walks for a day or two since she has a few health issues. Comet on the other hand shows no ill affects from the heat. He is the one who loves to swim out deep in the lake and get in the deeper parts of the brook so he gets more cooled off. Een though Comet is the oldest he doesn't have any health issues which helps too.
