August 1st Vegetable Gardens Update

We got a late start to the vegetable gardens this year but they're doing well.  We've had good harvests of green and yellow beans, peas, various types of kale, collards and chard so far. Tomatoes are coming but still green, squash, peppers, leeks, cucumbers, corn, potatoes and beets are on their way. Plus a few more things I've probably forgotten about. I've just planted a second crop of beets. The giant volunteer pumpkin plant (3 plants but 1 is HUGE) just keeps growing and has some little pumpkins started on it now.
